To mark 60 years of the queen reign a celebration will take
place on 2,3,4,5 June. The Queen came to the throne in 1952 but her coronation
took place on 2 June 1953. In 2002 the Queen celebrated her 50 years of reign
and now in 2012 there will be a long bank holiday weekend to celebrate the
Queen’s reign.
The weekend will have a processional route and many events will
take place. This event will be celebrated by millions around the world, many
will come to London to remember the great event that took place within their
lifetime. This great event will be momentous and it is a great pleasure to be a
part of such a thing as the only other queen that had a diamond jubilee was
